Me and my mates are going from edinburgh on the wednesday morning by train, anyone else planning on doing this?

5 of us going from Edinburgh on Wednesday am but don't know if driving or taking the train yet.

did it by train from aberdeen once, by the time we changed train at {some station in England} it seemed like everyone on the train was going to the fest

Yip.. Me and two mates getting a train leaving Dundee about 11.15 which ofcourse a few hours after will be going through Edinburgh. Did the same last year having a few beers on the way up, went out in Leeds on that night which was pretty good fun and made it more interesting as none of us had ever been to Leeds the city before and the party ended at the Travel Inn we booked for the night

Ive gone the whole hog and booked a luxury coach to take lots of Glaswegians down to Leeds, i still have the ability to back out but if your interested then the prices should be about 38.50 rtn this will take 6.5 hours with a stop or two, you cant stop for a smoke on the train which i hate and me and a few want to go down with a big load of people. The more that go the better, if your interested then send me an e-mail ok.

is there anyone got a space in the car from edinburgh or nearby?

would definitely be easier if there was a lift goin. gettin there is half the battle like.

im getting the train down on the wednesday, on my own, it sucks, anyone mind if i tag along with them? im not weird its just my tits of mates decided theyd rather go to glasto this year.

I've got 2 spaces from Kinross if anyone wants? We'll be leaving early thursday, maybe wednesday. You'll have to pay in for petrol but shouldn't be too much!

Eh? I just had a look, and a saver return from Glasgow to Leeds is only £50 with a railcard. Maybe an extra tenner or so without. And it means you can get whatever train you want on the way home.

i'm rubbish at trains lol, i kept gettin really dear ones - i'm paying for two of them!! grr, finaly managed to get it for 86quid for both last nyte but have to get on specific trains ah well at least i've got them

Im leaving thursday morning, going to see Russell Howard the night before in Edinburg, I got my train for £37 both ways just a few days ago from nation express (Y)

Leaving from Fife by car on Thursday morning - first time at Leeds and i'm elected driver
Hopefully should get there in one piece (have nissan micra with a 1.0 engine - may take a while ).
