I took a friend 2 years ago that was pretty much the same and she loved it got as mucked up as the rest of us!

I think a lot of people's attitudes change in a festie environment when they realise everybody's as mucky etc as each other.

This is very true. When people watch on telly and have never been they might have ideas about how horrible it is, but when they are there in the thick of it, it's a different story, every year our camp grows with people who think they are too clean for festivals/camping till they do it once then they are hooked...even in the mucky years of 97/98

Sit them down and tell them that chances are they will look and smell like shit the whole weekend, get covered in whatever is thrown and that its not luxury camping accomidation, so doing hair and make up and moaning about sleep deprivation will be pointless.
You know, just tell them what to expect and if they argue/ moan about that then dont get them a ticket.

p.s we were at the back at the kaisers last year and the piss still hit us!!! ur never safe!!!
