Just found out my ticket is labeled as a guest ticket and requires a compulsary donation of £25 quid is that normal

are these the same as VIP tickets? and what does that get me?

little concerned as well that it says we have to go in at the yellow entrance is the normal bus thing from town going to get us anywhere near or are we ggoing to have a mile trek to get in?

Guest tickets get you a seperate camping area (if you want to use it) with better facilities, showers etc and your own bar. However, its quieter there, so not as much party time probably. Its not access all areas or anything though.
The donation is normal for guest tickets.
And yeah, youre supposed to go in Yellow gate with guest tickets. The bus drops you off at yellow gate so, sorted!

If you are northern and tight don't pay the donation and you will get bog standard tickets for free

My mate from work who gets guest tickets says he sets up a tent in the guest area with all his stuff and sets up another tent in the main camping bit with a few chairs and beers so he can enjoy both pissing around and soaking up the atmosphere of proper camping and can also go back to his tent with the luxury of guest camping and the main stage 30 seconds from his tent!
