My sister and her friends booked with www.leedsfestival.net, they have not received their tickets and are now very worried and upset.
It is very very possible that this site is a scam. either they are a tout taking booking for tickets they do not have but thought they could get or they are operating with no intention of sending any tickets.
Has anyone else booked with this site? have you received your tickets??

I have been looking into this and if tickets were booked by credit card and value was over £100 and money has been taken and no tickets received you can get your money back from your credit card company. (This company has comitted an offence by taking money and not providing you with the goods/ service promised, i.e. they have committed theft)
You must:
Report this to the police and obtain a crime reference number.
Advice your credit card company that you have not received the goods promised, cancel the card and ask them to start fraud proceedings. send to them any and all information you have i.e. emails confirming sale of ticket and promise to send.
do not allow them to tell you that they can not take it on as fraud, they MUST! they may charge you up to £50 excess, as details were willingly disclosed but they CANNOT turn you away. If you have any problems send a complaint letter to the credit card company requesting a final response, if they are still not willing to take it on as fraud you must contact the financial ombudsman.

Debits cards can be cancelled but any paying back is at the banks disgression.

Yeh its a scam, i bought my tickets from the same place and i emailed them asking about my tickets and this is what they sent me:

"Further to your email chasing the delivery of your tickets I have looked into your booking and I am extremely sorry to inform you that your tickets have not been posted and that you will be receiving a full refund instead.

It would appear that all our tickets have now been posted out however your case is unfortunately one of the few that requires cancellation with a full refund. Standard bank procedure requires that the transaction is simply reversed back onto the card that you used when you made the original transaction. Please allow up to 28 days for the credit to appear back on your statement.

With sincere apologies again for the inconvenience caused"

Id email them and ask whats going but i expect you'll get the same reply. Ive no idea if they'll give me my refund but i suppose il have to wait 28 days to find out
