Whats the crack with taking gas bottles (4kg Butane bottle) into the campsite ? had a look on the Leeds site but doesn't really say, is it ok to take bigger bottles in or you just allowed to take the small disposable aerosols / canisters.

Cheers

You've got no chance whatsoever of getting one in unless you smuggle it pretty well and if you're seen with one on campsite you'll have it confiscated. I'd report someone who had something like that myself as they're bloody dangerous.

No bother, thought it would be on the site to be honest but only really mentions about recycling them.

Apologies about all the other duplicate posts, computer seemed to freeze so just kept clicking 'add reply' in frustration untill it worked.

Yeah boss, it's all cool, they'res just so many muppets who seem to think chucking 'em on fires is such a great idea that it's not a good thing to have in the vicinity of your tent! A little one'll easy do you all weekend, then just take it home or hand it into to the camp assistants if you don't want the extra weight on the trudge home...
