The people presenting the v festival are annoying.

yeah the crowd at prodigy in comparison to T was tame, prodigy was a riot at T! biggrin.gif
Whiskerzz
i can second that the crowd was a riot at T as i was there and promptly thrown over the barrier by some unknown person behind ! PRICK !

i wanna gie him a gid kick in the go-naads for that as i was greatly enjoyin myself talkin to some people from aberdeen who were a banter mad.gif
mrcat1990
how much do you weigh???!!?? if someone tried throwin me over the barrier they would have some severe difficulty!

Theres a simple explanation for this, 4music. Alexa Chung has got to be the most annoying woman in 'showbiz'. And that Steve Jones fudd that presents Transmission with Lauren Laverne - he does my head in to say the least.

But I agree with the original post, the line up, although similar (KOL, Verve, Prodigy, Ian Brown) is pretty pish

it looks shite. all the folk in the crowd look like total fannies. there were mosh pits at the twang and the courteeners, what's that all about? do these arseholes think that's what you're supposed to do at a festival?

utter pish so it is.

V festival has always been the joke of all the big fests. Corporate or not it just always has a mediocre line-up and sems to attract a f**kin fashion parade rather than people who are really into there music.

I was at both T and V and have to say that V this year was not too bad. V is defintiely more civilised - although takes ages to get a beer and the line up is never as good. At least the stranglers were on a decent sized stage so I got to see them unlike T.

BTW Attic Lights were excellent at V even though there were about 20 people watching them!!

After seeing Reading on the telly I'm thinking of doing it next year. You realy can't tell from the telly whether it's good or not. But you can tell from the line-up, V was shit (bar Muse), the other big bands had done a few other festivals anyway.

But Reading and T In The Park sounds a bit tasty, shove Gasto in there and you have the perfect festival big guns.

the line up at v was really good, but in all honesty one persons shit line up is another persons fantastic line up its all personnel preference!

i think glasto might be a bit too hardcore for me mud wise i've seen it there and not sure i could cope with that much mud that i'd be practically swimming in it!

Very true, depends what you like. I think we're speaking in two different threads now so I'm getting confused. But just do as many festivals as you can afford. Personaly from what you've said I'd go for V, Reading and TITP.

yeah it did. it's the worst festival i've been to, but it definitely had the best line up out of all the uk festivals this year.

it's just a shame a lot of the good stuff was on at the same time :/

i wish they'd organise the lineup a little better(i do get that they're trying to split up the crowds)

its not that there trying too split up crowds, people have differant music tastes, there no way of telling exactly how many people that like one band will like another, they cant please everyone with how they organise it.
stuart_TITP
V (chelms) goers Wouldnt know What hit them if Muse Played T

"What No Dancing?" "you boy stop Pushing me you fool"
rconway
