If your gonna go by train book your tickets now to save abit of cash, theres shuttle buses running from the station to the festival for £4 each way. I personally think its riddiculous they dont provide free transport from the station as the European festival im going to pays for the entire train journey. You can buy camping stuff at the festival but costs you more than it would from a retail shop.

If you really don't want to carry stuff, you've got to set everything out beforehand and really try and cut down on stuff. I mean, this year, I'm taking a tent, a sleeping bag, a pair of shorts, some tshirts and a jacket (and wellies if necessary). I know it's more difficult for girls, but you've really got to try and discriminate in terms of what to take. Surely you don't need ALL that make up? blink.gif

What I intend to do, is take stuff that's disposable so at least I can bin a load of stuff when I'm leaving. The tent cost me a tenner off my mate, the sleeping bag is a crappy one from Asda and the wellies cost me 7 quid from a cheapshop down the road. I'm not cheap like! It's just it'll make it ridiculously easier on the way back, as potentially, all I'll be carrying is a backpack with a water carrier and some clothes in. I believe you can buy blow up mattresses there, but you'll either need a big set of lungs or a pump to blow it up with. My mate has a camping mat to sleep on that just rolls up, you could have a look for one of those? They hardly weigh anything. You can also get chairs there aswell, think it's 2 for 8quid or a fiver each. They WILL either break or be stolen by the sunday so be prepared to leave without them (I'll be leaving mine there anyway - unless someone robs it beforehand).
