aye me and my friends discussed going for a pure laugh wearing boiler suits then bombing shit loads of ket and mdma but its full of neds so its easy to get into a fight i know a few people that go every time its on and things can get nasty considering there all on pills?

people wearing rucksacks at gigs piss me off. a guy in front of me during prodigy had a fold up chair in his bag, the legs were poking out hitting everyone in the face. i took one to the chin, put the elbow in him and got infront of him.

it was totally inconsiderate jumping around at a gig what that type of thing on his back. as far as im concerned, if you're coming for the day, you dont need enough stuff to have a bag, if you're camping, leave it in the damn tent.

very true claire, ive been to countless dance event's or as some very stuck up people on this forum refer to ned fests, yes there is neds and yes they are most likely out of their tits but i can honestly say i have never had any bother at any thing ive been to, everybody is into differant tunes in life so relax n let us get on with ours and you go away and enjoy yours!!!

What day and age do you live in?? And the others in this thread who seem to think that events such as Fantazia are only attended by Neds?? I am a 30 year old teacher who thoroughly enjoys going to the Fantazia events and others such as Coloursfest and Fantasylands. Yes there are people there who are intent on making trouble but most of the people there are there for the music, or else why pay the money to go to an event for that length of time??? As for everyone being on pills and getting nasty, you will find that most of the violence at any event comes from those intoxicated by alcohol more than anything else. Alcohol, the worst drug in the world and its legal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been to T the last few years and had a brilliant time, and have a great time when going to dance events, both types of music can be enjoyed by individual so stop stereotyping and live for the music.

Poeple do get the wrong end of the stick at times. Dance music nowadays has never been a 'neds' favourite.

It goes back to house music times around 15 or more years ago. At that time what was called the football casuals used to set small clubs up on their own, mainly to make money, but other fans used to come along and trouble ensued.

Nowadays it's different. I was at the Wickerman festival last week and they have a lot of dance tents there in the Eden zone. The Bhuta tent has breaks, beats and house. The Votan has psy trance, and Vishnu lounge has chill. Big dance music fans there, not a hint of trouble from any of them.

Unlike the thieving scum who were raiding tents, from what I heard none of them even entered the arena at all. Entered loads of tents mind you, until they got a kicking/caught.

In perspective, alcohol is a much larger problem. If you walk down the street at 3.00 tomorrow night and you see a fight, i would be prepared to bet money that alcohol is a contributing factor towards it.

Skag jakies are a problem, but on a much smaller scale.

Was actually pretty crap and left early.

A guy from the work went there and realy enjoyed it. Why did you leave early? He's not exactly clued up on dance music thou, think he only goes to try and pick up girls.
He camped at T and as he's local he nipped home for a shower, then he fell asleep. Missed all of Saturday!

I left because it was just bam central. I like the music but that event was just far too neddy and the atmosphere wasn't great.

That explains it, he's a bit of a bam right enough.
He's a season ticket holder for Rangers and bought a ticket for the Liverpool game yesterday. Texted him to ask the score and he said he never even went to the game. Ended up at legs & co stripprs instead, he's pure class.
