yeah it is a bit cringeworthy but each to their own. pendulum were getting the crowd to start chanting it during their set. but they're australian so they're excused for their bad taste. agree ,i'd rather hear that than" we'll be coming". f**king hate the tartan army.

Oh god, some chavvy girl in the bus queue to edinburgh on Monday morning, when everyone else was trying not to fall asleep, was chanting "WHERE ARE WE? T IN, T IN, T IN THE f**kING PAAAAAAAAAAAAARK"
The amount of muttered "oh f**k off"'s i heard was hilarious.

Rise of the idiots!
Anyhoo, I wouldn't say Pendulum are ned fodder. Although, they could be, haven't been to a Pendulum gig for ages. Don't know if I'd want to now they are pretending to be a rock band instead of playing some heavy drum n bass like they should be!

Yeah, the crosover thing gives me mixed feelings - there were elements of drum n bass at the gig, elements which were ill received by the crowd, they just wanted to jump up and down and bang into people, no floppy-armed-fast-feet-drum-n-bass-dancing to be seen.
Probably was a bit harsh with the ned fodder comment, although there were a lot of tools there.

Yeah, the thing that annoys me is that they are well known for being this crossover band while for the last 5 years or so they have made some awesome drum and bass. Their remix of Bacteria is amazing, Through the Loop also has to be one of my fave DnB tracks ever. Yet now they are producing this (imo) watered down music for scenesters.

YES! Through the Loop is amazing. Tarantula is a great tune aswell, but never gets played anymore.

Its not opinion man, its a sad fact. This is a consequence of allowing Radio 1 to play your stuff. The "In Silico" album is far more commercially orientated, it's middle of the road, radio friendly shit. They've sold out if you ask me.

i personally like their old and new stuff, but their old stuff is admitadly better, hold your colour was an amazing album. slam, another plannet, fasten your seatbelts, hold your colour and through the loop are easily all 5 times better than anything on in silico imo. Seen them 3 times this year though and may still go back in december.

I agree, I went to see Pendulum and was left feeling a bit shit at the lack of their old stuff they played. It's to be expected that thye will play their new stuff I know, but I was hoping for some good old DnB dancing not mosh pits that was being encouraged by the band.
Ah well I still have AndyC I suppose...
