EDIT: Managed to slightly loosen the metal bit on mine with a screwdriver and loosen it enough to take it off - ready to be put bak on as a fashion item when the need arises

How can you keep them on for a year or more? Do you not have jobs, or ever go to any kind of social affair where it doesnt look good to have a bit of tatty material round your wrist? Or things like funerals, weddings, job interviews....
