i was the guy up on someones shoulders at the front of seasick steve, thing is id just got married and made plectrums (guitar picks) for the weding and have been a fan of steve for a while, anyways i eventually got them to him at the end but i wanna thank the guys at the front who were helping me to get his attention, stars everyone of you!!
steves set was the bizz!
i even got an autograph and a big hug from steve, hes a proper bluesman with all the milage required!

booshsutton
was one of only three must see acts for me all weekend (along with The Raconteurs and Glasvegas) and was absolutely amazing. Dragged two mates in there promising that I would leave after 10mins to go see winehouse (blatant lie) and the three of us ended up staying there for the whole gig, missing winehouse in the process after stopping for a bufalo burger in healthy T.... They had never heard of him before but one of them nicked his album from my car on monday when i dropped him off. two more converts
Solero
This was also my favourite act of the weekend

I have one of those pleccies in my sporran. I was stood next to you for pretty much the whole set (kilt, guardsman's #2 jacket and black helmet). Really pleased you got to meet him in the end. biggrin.gif

Seasick steve followed by Justice hit every spot possible and the two alone are the best line up i have ever seen

Great to see originality at T.

Seasick may have went on a bit if he was longer than 45mins though
darthpaul
was amazin when seasick played boss, the song about his dead dog, i think everyone listening really felt that song!

thats the blues, true emotional music!

Had only seen him on jools holland on youtube before and went on a mates recommendation - one of my top 5! Had to miss the end for pendulum, but I'm tempted by the barras gig...
wullie72
He was quite frankly amazing & the atmosphere in the tent was spot on. I went for a wander to the front before dancing my way back to where Treacle & Paul were standing & had a ball dancing around with happy smiling strangers
Hebn2themix
He was brilliant! had never heard his stuff before, but am a fan now.

When Seasick Steve said "Next person to throw a drink at me, am gona go down there and kick ur ass..................unless its whiskey!"

It was the dude infront of me that threw the drink at him.
