It'll be announced like everything else at some point. Usually one of the last things to be announced. They'll be on the Alternative stage with Henry Rollins and Jeffery Lewis already confirmed.

The Alternative stage has been moved to a new location apparently, it will be over by the Carling tent where the fairground swirly ball thing was and there will be less fairground stuff around it so the noise level may be better this year. The agents haven't even finished booking for the comedy yet so it might be awhile before any announcement yet. But Neither Phil Nicol or Jim Jefferies will be on the bill this year

have caught some of his stuff on you tube and been sent stuff on facebook as well he's really funny, thats why im chasing a few names to check out really( only danger of checking comics out on you tube is that if you get a recent clip it could well be the same set that they do at the fest! )

Robin Ince has put Leeds/Reading on his myspace page which I'm very happy about. I saw him at the Apollo in Manchester when he was supporting Ricky Gervais, and I thought he was very funny.
Recently I saw him on Richard & Judy doing this terrible section on 'funny' youtube clips, still think he is worth seeing especially if you like some of Ricky Gervais' jokes.

The teacher enters the classroom to find "I've got the biggest cock in the school" written on the blackboard.
The teacher says, "Alright, who did that?"
Little Johnny immediately put his hand up. "Me, Miss," he said.
"Right, I want to see you after class."
Johnny turns to his mate and says, "Who said advertising doesn't pay?"

Does anybody know who the 'punky' (leather/studs etc) canadian (I think) guy who last year told a story about sleeping with a mong 'cos he liked her accent?
and asked "who responds to alarms nowadays? When I hear a rape alarm I just ignore it, and carry on raping her"
really really really bad stuff especially if, like me, you were sat next to your 12 yr old son.
But he was so funny.
No idea who he was though.... any takers?
And who was the guy who simply blue-toothed around a photo of a big shit he'd found in the toilet backstage. Talk about improv. I don't think he told he a single joke just stood there, rambled on about this big shit and took the piss out of the names he found via blue tooth.
What is it about leeds that makes you forget all the details? Oh Yeah.... It's John Daniels
