Was just watching some old Louis Theroux n remembered how good he is!

Anyone else like Louis?

Whats your favourite Louis moment?
sadwitch
I would.
Cardboard Box City
I liked the San Quentin one he did recently and the Hamiltons one is a classic.

Trying to find somewhere to watch 'The Most Hated Family In America' cos I only saw bits of it but it looked interesting
Ming The Mercyless
I like his programmes.

The American White Supremist (think that was who they were) one is fascinating if a little disturbing.
Babybird
I love Louis, he is ace, and like sad witch, my wife would also.

My favourites have been the vegas one and the most hated family in america.
Kowalski
I like all his stuff, the recent documentaries have all been good.

I always liked the Anne Widdecombe one for some reason.
Ryu
Best moment for me was when he's stood in the drive way of a rednecks house, and they've got confederate flags everywhere, and are openly racists, and members of the Aryan nations, and Louis has the nuts to not answer when asked if he was a Jew.

Babybird
I think he sets him self up as this harmless almost idiotic man, and then his smacks them with a velvet glove, he lets people hang themselves and highlights idiosyncrasies.
Ming The Mercyless
Just remembered the Jimmy Saville one was good.
wullie72
I would appreciate him a lot more if he just went away
gregory
the ganstar rap episode. "i'm driving in my fiat, you really have to see it...... red red wine" etc. etc. biggrin.gif

louis is one my true heroes, i love the wierd weekends so much.
_rachelbon
i like him. are there repeats of his documentaries on? what channel?
pc18568
I love who he makes his 'victims' look stupid. His visits to the white supremacists always intrigue me. That woman with the two little girls singing aryan songs was a pure nutter. The one when he met Keith Harris and Orville was also a little odd.

Mrs PC would too, by the way. rolleyes.gif
ukdannyb
He's brilliant, has so much bottle to ask some of the questions but gets away with it by appearing naive.

Fun Louis fact: He was good chums with Adam and Joe at school.

What do you mean "too" PC, as well as you....blink.gif

The wrestling one was ace as well, especially when he tried to imply it was all fake to a massive bloke who then made him train till he was sick.

She must have enjoyed the porn star episode then.

I missed the plastic surgery one. Most of his stuff is on google videos which is where I seen the majority.

The south africa one was pretty creepy too. Didn't realise it was still so bad!

Louis! Ah Louis. I spent much of time watching all his films on tv links. Love it.

My favourite one was the swinger's party and he went to the middle aged couples house and looked so uncomfortable. It was kind of good to see him a little floundered for once.

I also really enjoyed the deathrow one, some of the people he interviewed just had the bleakest of existances. crazy.

Haha, he brought a partner and the guy hosting it was well trying to get stuck in while his wife was on the door taking tickets!!

Best bit was when he was in the supermarket asking the women swinger if he can ask the cashier to the party!!!

tbh, the places he went were the places tourists wouldn't go.

Both of the New Shows were really depressing, not what you'd expect from Louis at all. Saying that, both were Miles better than most other stuff out there.

I found the Johannesburg one depressing, but not the Philadelphia one, for some reason. Philly seemed disorderly, but Johannesburg seemed like hell.

I liked it, it was light but sometimes I'm in the mood for light.

The Piece that resonated with me was the Cop they called Hunter ( ? ) who said something like,
" In 5 years time I'll retire and there will be someone to replace me, every Kid on every street corner who goes to jail or gets Killed......... well there'll be someone to replace them".

It was just a Perpetual cycle of life sucking crap, that left me feeling that the whole system is broken.
Iamthewalrus9
Indeed, it was better in the days that he went swinging.
windy_miller
The Johannesburg programme was depressing, but also one of the most interesting programmes I have watched in ages. I knew it was bad out there, but that was just f**king awful. That bloke talking about putting babies in ovens was particularly sick.
luckysalt
Possibly the best thing I have seen on tv in years last night, very good television
