Youth Beatz is an interactive FREE event for young people aged 12-25 to have fun, take part and be better informed. The event takes place on Saturday 13th August 2011 at Dock Park, in Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway, Scotland.

Line-up

The first acts confirmed for 2011 are headliners Chipmunk and Alexandra Burke, Basshunter, Emma's Imagination, Finding Albert, Twenty Twenty, Xavia, and Wagner. There will also be local acts performing on both the Main Stage and new Second Stage.

The event

The event takes place in two parts the frist runs from 1pm-5pm and includes an information marquee, inflatables and family attractions, sports zone, display zone, funfair zone, alongside live music on the main stage including local bands. The second part concentrates more on the music with the headliner and support acts and takes place from 7pm-10pm.

Facilities

As well as the main stage acts, Youth Beatz 2011 is expected to also feature MY-POD, Bungee Trampolines, YMCA World Zone, SPW Wrestling, Laser Quest, Pole Joust, Equaliser, Gladiator, Human Table Football, Rodeo Bull, Climbing Wall, Ski Slope, Young Scot Info Mobile, Scotland's Biggest Inflatable Slide, Speed Cage, Police Display Team, Aviation Museum, Youth Info Marquee, Audience participation at the main stage, merchandise stalls and a selection of food and drink outlets.
