Shuttle buses are offered from Matlock (not Matlock Bath) and Buxton, the two closest towns. The Derwent Valley Line trains run from Derby and Nottingham to Matlock. The train from Manchester Piccadilly to Buxton takes one hour.
The festival encourages the use of GoCarShare, a website where you can find a lift in exchange for paying towards fuel costs or offer a lift to others to reduce carbon emissions.
