Women of the World (WOW) '12

Women of the World takes place from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th March 2012 at London's Southbank Centre.

Line-up

Sinead O'Connor, Emmy The Great, Annie Lennox, Katy B, Jess Mills, Emeli Sandé, Sarah Gillespie, duoDorT, and more to be announced. Expect award-winning female artists and guest speakers too including Lisa Dwan, and Sand Toksvig.

Tickets

Ticket prices vary depending on event. A three-day WOW Festival Conference Pass is priced at £30 (concessions £15, under-18s £10), which includes access to WOW daytime events. The three-day pass also entitles you to a 20% discount on one ticket for one ticketed evening event or for Life Cycle on Sunday. To buy tickets, click here.

Now in its second year, WOW – Women of the World – is a celebration of the formidable strength and inventiveness of women – a pioneering, groundbreaking annual festival, which will present, recognise and celebrate women, and act as a conversation space for issues of all kinds.

Through a series of debates, conversations, networking opportunities, presentations, showcases and places to meet and talk, Wow – Women of the World celebrates the potential and achievement of women and addresses some of the obstacles that women face across the world.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
