For the 4th year Worldwide Festival, curated by Gilles Peterson returns to the ski resort of Leysin, near Lake Geneva, Switzerland from Friday 17th to Sunday 20th March 2016.

The original event happens in Sete in the South Of France at the end of June.

The Worldwide Festival has decided to bring its winter edition of the Worldwide Festival back to the Alpes Vaudoises resort.

Line-up

Host Gilles Peterson, is joined by Henry Wu, Rainer Trüby, Kidkanevil, DJ Nonames (Foreign Beggars), Nickodemus, LV, DJ Khalab, Kristel Morin, Lefto, Chief, Lexis, Callis, Simbad, Thris Tian, Food For Ya Soul, and more to be announced.

A package which includes access to the 4-day festival and a ski pass valid for a week is available to festival goers priced at 120 Euros.

Accommodation

It is advisable to book an accommodation as early as possible to take advantage of the best deals. There are various options available to suit all kind of budgets : hotels, chalets, apartments, B&B, camp sites etc.

The evening events will be held at various bars around the resort, giving fans the chance to get even closer to their favourite artists and allowing the locals to discover these artists at venues they are already familiar with. So here's what's happening: Music during the day by the slopes, followed by an after-ski party down at the bottom to finish off with DJ sets in the various bars in Leysin. Gilles Peterson will of course be putting together a line-up featuring a mixture of well established artists and up and coming acts.
