The dates for 2013 are confirmed as Friday 12th to Sunday 14th July for this environmentally conscious festival located in a beautiful setting at The Workhouse, in Llanfyllin, Powys offering a happy weekend, aimed at people who want to relax and have a good time with friends and good music.

Line-up

The line-up includes String the Marionette, Cherrie Fosphate, Soul Preachers, StayAwake, Bleedin Noses, Hel Dinky, Defy All Reason, Tacsi Criw, To Loud for the Legion, Shifty Chicken Shed, Blindsyde, Wildfire, Here After Dark, The Deadly, The Nuclear Weasels, Mountain of Love, and Thin Vision.

Tickets

Adult weekend tickets are on sale priced at £28 for the weekend, £16 youth (13-17), and tickets for children aged under 12 tickets are priced at £1. Camping is available onsite for a small fee of £5 per person, for the whole weekend, and £5 per car for parking on our new hard standing Car Park. This will go towards preparing and clearing the field after the event, and of course lots of toilets. To buy tickets, click here.

This family friendly weekend, has an outdoor live music stage, and a sound system and DJ setup in the Venue. A lounge area with food, from around the world and a lovely big bar + chill out area with cabaret and other entertainment, including Rob Chapman, magician and mystery entertainer.

This year there will be a number of workshops, including a Blacksmith, Healing, Fabric and Knitting with more to be announced over the coming weeks and a 'Kids' Area, clear of the arenas, but close enough for you to keep an eye on them.

This event is run by 'The Workhouse' volunteers, to raise money to continue the ongoing renovation of the building for the Community, Arts, Education & the Environment.

All profit from the Workhouse Festival goes to support the Llanfyllin Workhouse project - a charitable environmentally sustainable community project. Workhouse prioritises local traders to reduce food miles and makes every effort to re-use or recycle materials and the festival's power is sourced from ecotricity and from renewable sources.
