The dates for 2008 are confirmed as Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July for this environmentally conscious festival located in a beautiful setting. This is your chance to go to Workhouse Festival which is a festival to suit all ages, there'll be around five stages with live music (celtic, world, indie, reggae, ska, dance electronica), as well as DJs and cabaret in those and other venues. The acts confirmed so far are Dreadzone, Dr Meaker, Babyhead, Sicknote, and The Don Bradmans with loads more festival friendly acts still to be announced. There will also be cabaret, film, djs, workshops, bizarre walkabout, a kids area and kids' entertainment, sauna & showers, alternative energy, stalls and cafes, bar, a healing area and green crafts. New for 2008 is a new area for green and environmental innovations. Tickets are on sale and priced as follows: Adults (18 and over) £55; Youth (16 to 17) £30; Youth (13 to 15) £30 must be purchased WITH an Adult ticket; Child (12 and under) Free but must be booked WITH an Adult ticket. Mobile homes, caravans etc £10 must be pre-booked. Gates open at noon on Friday and close 6pm Sunday. Rules:
