Wireless Festival is confirmed as happening on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July, at Hyde Park in London.

The acts confirmed so far are for the Saturday, headliners Basement Jaxx, with The Streets, Dizzee Rascal, Paul Oakenfold, Frankmusik, Sneaky Soundsystem, Jack Penate, N.A.S.A., Tommy Sparks, Digitalism, Metric, Skint & Demoralised, Master Shortie, The Japanese Popstars, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Delphic, St Etienne, Afrika Bambaataa and the Soulsonic Force, and Filthy Dukes, also confirmed.

Sunday's headliner has been confirmed as Kanye West with other acts appearing that day including Alesha Dixon, Kelly Rowland, Noisettes, Q-Tip, Flo Rida, Kid Cudi, Tinchy Stryder, N-Dubz, Zarif, Lady Sovereign, Ironik, Example, Florence Rawlings, Chipmunk, Daniel Merriweather, Young Jeezy, and Mr Hudson.

In addition to four stages of music, Wireless 2009 will also have attractions including an acoustic band stand, a fairground, chill out areas, street theatre, performance art, markets, food stalls, beer gardens, secure lockers, and fun games.

The Beauty & Beats area will feature two professional model shows will take place each day with one special show featuring women hand picked at the festival. The open casting will run from 12-2pm each day and give the lucky ladies an opportunity to become the Face of the Festival. Featuring live DJs, fashion judges and a celebrity compere. There will also be stylists on hand to showcase and sample products as well as offer styling advice.

Making a return this year is the Serpentine Bar with a beer garden and picnic seating with table service, and the Victorian Funfair. For those with a more adventurous streak there's a Velcro Wall, Bungee Run, and Gyroscope.

A video games area will also be at Wireless this summer, offering the chance to play the latest video game releases. New for 2009 is the chance for players to put themselves literally into a game video at the Get in the Game virtual studio.

Tickets for Saturday are priced at £45, and Sunday 'early bird' tickets are priced at £40. To buy tickets, click here.

When buying tickets an extra 50p carbon offset for can be added to orders to negate the environmental impacts of travel to and from the festival, these funds will be used to invest in environmental projects in local schools.

Disabled access:
There is a disabled customers hotline number to call when booking tickets to reserve a place on the platform or to discuss their access requirements. Hyde Park is in the heart of London and accessing the festival is easy with a variety of tube lines and bus routes available.
