Returning for a sixth time the Willowman Festival returns to the Hillside Rural Activities Park, Knayton between Thirsk & Northallerton, in North Yorkshire.

The family friendly event takes place over four days on the Summer Solstice weekend from Thursday 15th to Sunday 18th June 2017.

Line-up

Acts confirmed so far are headliners Soul II Soul, Aswad, Judge Jules, Slamboree, as well as Transglobal Underground, Beans On Toast, Funke & the Two Tone Baby, The Red Paintings, The Smokin' Coconuts, Hip Hop Hooray, Serinette, Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5, Blackballed, Leanne & The Radix, Secret Sub Rosa, Doghouse, Bad Fractals and Bloom with more to be announced.

Tickets are priced at £70 for a full weekend including camping. A live in vehicle pass is £25, or £35 for caravans. A young person (aged 12 - 17 years) weekend ticket is priced at £50. Children aged under 11 years ticket is £2, with car parking and camping also free.

No day tickets will be issued except for Sunday. Kids under 16 must be accompanied by at least one adult (18+).

On site

Expect arts crafts and a complete Healing Area set in a tranquil position within the festival site. There will be Indian head massage, Shiatsu massage and Spiritual talks along with Card readings and Pagan Stone readings. Plus an under cover Vintage Market, Acoustic Stage, Comedy Tent, real ale tent, headphone disco, and Chill Out Disco.

Camping

Camping in a tent is free. Expect the return of three distinct camping areas. Campsite One is for families and those who do not wish to party all night (tents only) General camping is also for tents only and lastly there is a large area for caravaners and those with live in vehicles.

Volunteers

Like all festivals Willowman need keen volunteers to help run things smoothly. In exchange for working two 4 hour shifts over the weekend volunteers will receive free entry to the festival. General volunteers, car parking helpers, and campsite wardens are needed.

Family fun

Willowman Festival has fun for all the family, with a bouncy castle, face painting, junior arts and crafts, plus a funfair too, and all kids activities are free unless stated otherwise.
