With multiple stages and an eclectic mix of festival favourites, iconic acts, local bands, and headliners with a wide appeal, the 10th anniversary of Wickerman festival will happen on Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd July 2011.

Line-up

James headline Friday, and Feeder Saturday with Echo & The Bunnymen, The Hoosiers, Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club (DJ Set), The Damned, From The Jam, Utah Saints, Riva Starr, The Bluebells, Matthew And The Atlas, The Dangleberries, Spunge, King Kurt, X-Press2, Dan O Donnell, Noisettes, Yasmin, Sound of Guns, The Coral, and more.

The line-up goes across ten stages including the Summerisle Stage, Scooter Tent, The Acoustic Village, Axis Sound System Reggae Tent, Bass Camp, Greenman Inn, Headphone Arena, Ho Down Wendy House, Solus and for the first time the goNORTH Festival Tour Stage. The site

Sited on 120 acres of isolated farmland, near Dundrennan, South West Scotland, in deepest Galloway, the festival welcomes families, and features two main stages, as well as a dance area, acoustic and reggae tents, a campsite, trade stalls, alternative area, bars, and food stalls.

Tickets

Early bird tickets have now sold out. Normal tickets will be priced at £90 including camping and car parking. Concessions (13-15 years old) will be priced £45 for a limited time and will only be available online. Children under 13 go free. Caravan/campervan tickets are an additional £30 with a further £50 to this ticket price for an electrical hook up.

Everyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult and bring proof of age - anyone without proof of ID will be liable to pay the full adult ticket price at the gate. We also recommend anyone who looks under 21 to bring ID with them. The ages shown on the tickets refer to the age of the child/concession on the day of the festival (not the age at time of purchase).

Down 'n' Dirty

The Down 'n' Dirty toilets and the Down 'n' Dirty showers are priced at £8 for each facility. These passes allow use of our upgraded 'posh' flushing toilets and hot showers.

Tipis

Tipis are also available they come in standard (£465) and luxury (£565) and each sleep six people making it only £77.50/ £94 extra per person, in addition to the ticket price.

Features

The Wickerman features a children's area, Dumfries Museum's Activity Tent, a drumming workshop, mountain bike skills workshops with the Forestry Commission, Cosmic Circles Fire Dancers, a funfair for kids, chainsaw juggling, outdoor cinema, children's circus and the climax of the weekend's happening is the burning of a 25 foot high wickerman sculpture on Saturday at midnight.

This year's fancy dress theme has not yet been announced.
