Ireland's Westport Festival of Music & Food returns for a second year the two-day, family-friendly event is taking place this year on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June on the estate of Westport House, a 400 acre site in the heart of Co. Mayo, Ireland.

Line-up

The latest additions are The Cabin Collective, The Waterboys, The High Kings and The Hot Sprockets.

They join Elvis Costello And The Imposters, The Silver Seas, Squeeze, Martha Wainwright, Imelda May, Orquesta Buena Vista Social, Blind Boys Of Alabama, Christy Moore with Declan Sinnott, ABC, The Stunning, Alabama 3, Damien Dempsey, Ryan Sheridan, Hayseed Dixie, The Grand Parade With Special Guests, LAPD (Donal Lunny, Andy Irvine, Liam O'Flynn & Paddy Glackin), Jack L Presents Jack's Duets With Special Guests, The Riptide Movement, Sharon Corr, Gavin James, Julie Feeney, Cry Before Dawn, I Draw Slow, The Clew Bay Pipe Band Presents 'Pipe-Versity' (with Damien Dempsey & Mundy), Hermitage Green, New Sunset Hotel, Delorentos, Le Galaxie, Squarehead, Daithi, Funeral Suits, Kid Karate, Sleep Thieves, Mojo Gogo, Elaine Mai, In Their Thousands, So Cow, Dott, The Depravations, Doghouse, and Stephen James Band.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at 130 euros for an adult weekend ticket. Day tickets are priced at 75 euros. A teen (13-17 year olds) weekend ticket is priced at 65 euros or 40 euros for a teen day ticket. 2013 sees the 'Best in the West' food village come to Westport Festival. An array of food producers will present foodsincluding Clew Bay Oysters, Killary mussels, and Connemara Mountain Lamb infused with Garlic and Rosemary. The Friendly Food Form will return again this year combining cookery demonstrations, led by Irish chef Derry Clarke, with audience viewing, participation and interaction.

Also confirmed this year is the The Dylan Bradshaw Hair Salon and their hair stylists, and Irish photographer Barry McCall will have a Photo Booth on site, while another new addition to the festival this year is The Cotton Club, where you will be transported back in time to the heady days of the 1920s.

On site

The on-site family area includes a Pirate Adventure Park on the festival grounds. Families will be able to enjoy the Pirate Queen swinging ship, the Pirates Plunge Water Slide, the gorgeous swan Pedaloe Boats, the Westport House Express miniature train ride, bouncy castles and many more fun festival activities.

There is an established campsite with hot water in the showers and real toilets surrounded by ancient trees with Croagh Patrick and Clew Bay in the background only a short walk away from all the Festival and a 10-minute walk from Westport town. Onsite Facilities include: FREE hot showers, electrics (limited numbers so allocated on a first come-first served basis!), WiFi, recycling, picnic & washing up areas. Onsite bar/café with live music & food open until 11pm.
