Waveform, which runs from Friday 12th September to Sunday 14th September, describes itself as a 'unique dance gathering'. The festival is due to take place this year on a new site at Warren Farm, Liddington, Wiltshire.

There'll be six stages of music, with a diverse range of DJ's and live performers uniting many different dance genres into one festival. There is an all night music license. Confirmed acts now include: Eat Static, System 7, Gaudi, Zubzub, OOOD, Widescreen, Bonze, Zetan Spore, Far Too Loud, ILS, Subsource, Orchid Star, Mood Deluxe, Sinewave, Sick Rebel, Liquid Djems, and A9ent Oran9e. The event will be powered with renewable energy, have a site wide organic food policy and a number of waste reduction policies will be in place.

Waveform is participating in Earth Dance, an international charity project where people unite together at midnight on 13th September to dance for peace in more than 50 different countries around the world and raise money for chosen charities.

This year will see the Green Village expand into a whole area, powered exclusively by wind and sun and featuring our live music café and ambient spaces. There will also be plenty of breaks, electro, dubstep, minimal and dub to keep all tastes in dance music happy.

Tickets are no longer available online, only on the gate and the prices will be Friday £90 (Gate Opens 10am closes midnight), Saturday £70 Gate Opens 10am closes midnight), Sunday £40 Gate Opens 10am closes 4pm). Children tickets for those aged 5 to 15 cost £22; car parking costs £10 (motorbikes free); campervans, or cars & caravans cost £27 per live in vehicle.

Alcohol policy:
There is an official policy on what alcohol is allowed on site which includes no glass, and no more than one case of beer/ 1 wine box per person, no alcohol is allowed to be sold by those attending the event. On entry to the site with alcohol wristbands will be clipped and a second entry with more alcohol is not permitted. The reason is to minimalise waste and littering on site, there will be reasonably priced organic alcoholic beverages for sale on site.
Nitrous policy:
Festival goers are asked to leave the (greenhouse) gas at home, as this is a sustainable event. Nitrous gas cannisters are a major source of litter and their use in public spaces is antisocial. Nitrous gas containers and/or balloons, are not allowed on site and may be confiscated on entry. The use of Nitrous gas is not allowed in any tent or stage of the festival. Anyone found selling Nitrous will be asked to leave the event.

The festival also has a no fires, dogs, or glass on site policy.

Waveform Festival encourages everyone attending the festival to use public transport or to lift share wherever possible. A major part of the environmental impact of Waveform is the transport of festival goers to and from the event. Help the organisers reduce the overall impact of this event by taking a bus or train to Swindon. There will be a waste vegetable oil powered shuttle bus service from Swindon rail station.
