The dates for the 33rd Warwick Folk Festival, are confirmed as being from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th July 2012, coinciding with the opening of the Olympics.

Line-up

The latest acts confirmed are Tickled Pink, Tim Edey & Brendon Power, Hekety, Crucible Trio, Joe O'Donnell's "Shkayla", Doc Rowe, Matt Quinn, Kirsty Gallacher, Paul & Liz Davenport, One More Night, Paul & Glen Elliott, Jess & Richard Arrowsmith, Reel Note Band, Na-Mara, Infinite Cherries, Speake & Lowe, Lars Nilsson, Warwick Community Band, and Kameron.

They join Eddi Reader, Edward II, Michael McGoldrick, John McCusker & John Doyle, Nic Jones with Joe Jones & Belinda O'Hooley, Vin Garbutt, Faustus, Breabach, Jim Moray, Tim Edey & Brendon Power, Damien O'Kane, Finest Kind, The Teacups, James Findley, Alex Cummings, Southern Tenent Folk Union, Lori Watson and Rule of Three, Lucy Ward, Robb Johnson, Seize The Day, Lady Maisery, Phillip Henry & Hannah Martin, Rallion, Keith Donnelly, Haddo, Maggie Boyle & Paul Downs, Martyn Harvey, Lydia Noble, Rob Halligan, Borderline Crossing, Sciorr, and Wildfire Folk with more to be announced.

A wealth of entertainment is featured on the Festival Site, which is in the School grounds of Warwick School. There are concerts, Ceilidhs, workshops, dance displays and crafts stalls plus a Children's Programme, Jan's Blackboard Van, a swimming pool and hot showers. Camping can only be booked with weekend tickets. A free bus service takes you to the Town Centre, which is about a 15 minutes walk.

Concerts on the Festival site are held in the Main Stage Marquee, and Bridge House Theatre. The Guy Nelson Hall is used for Ceilidhs and workshops, and on the same site there are acoustic concerts, singarounds, and workshops. The festival offers an extended Craft Fair, a range of real ales, on-site catering and community-led-recycling throughout the festival weekend.

The Warwick team also delivers an extensive Fringe Festival of events in the Town Centre, featuring dance displays, street theatre, music sessions, and an evening concert on Saturday.
