Wakefield Rock n Wrestle Festival 2011

As Wakefield Rock Festival isn't happening this year Wakefield Rock n Wrestle Festival will take over the weekend of Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th September 2011 based at 'The Thunderdome' an indoor arena, home to UKW in Wakefield, in West Yorkshire and is set to offer live music acts and wrestling entertainment.

Line-up

Friday: Isolysis, Further From The Truth, Karma Slave, The 9plan, Heatray.
Saturday: Fury UK, New Generation Superstars, The Fallen, Martyr De Mona, Stonerun, Red Riding Quartet, Silverjet, Long Day Fear, The Idol Dead, King Nothing, XIII, Clown Corpse, Idol Creep.
Sunday: Evil Scarecrow, Imicus, Nightvision, Broken, Airstryke, August 80, Dark Entity, Biolab666, The Black Stars, Blood Sweat&Beer, Whiskey & Lace, Room 9, Metalloid.

Plus UKW Stars Including: Jemma Palmer, Lionheart, Bubba Morris, Jonathan Sedgwick, Bret Bell, Valkabious, and many more. Ebony B will compare.

Tickets

Tickets are priced at £20 for the full weekend. A Friday ticket is priced at £6, and Saturday or Sunday tickets are priced at £9. Family ticket options are also available. To buy tickets click here.

The Rock n Wrestle concept was the idea of Neil Morris following an event Broken played for UKW. As Wakefield Rock Festival wasn't happening Neil suggested holding the event at UKW.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
