Designed especially for lovers, owners and enthusiasts of all models and types of VW. This family show offers a chilled, laid-back weekend of all things VW offering a full line-up of entertainments and music, an auto jumble, and various trade stalls, including VW Heritage, and show and shine competition. Plus guided woodland walks for families including survival skills talks, and a beach fossil walk.On Saturday morning V-Dub Island takes its annual drive-out through the Isle of Wight countryside, which last year attracted over a hundred VW's and is expected to grow even larger this year. The drive-out will culminate at V-Dub Island's surf competition, which is held against the backdrop of The Needles.
Festival goers will also be able to enter into V-Dub Island's 2012 'Olympic Games', which are intended to mimic London 2012, but, of course, with a unique VW twist.
For the younger event goers, there will be children's entertainers, the opportunity to paint and decorate a real VW beetle, and a sandcastle competition to name but a few.
More information will be here when available.
