last updated : Thu 9th Oct 08 The Unsound Festival brings experimental and electronic artists to Krakow, Poland for a week from Saturday 18th until Saturday 25th October. The line-up includes Amos Poe, Andrew Pekler, Autistic Daughters, Banabila / Zenial, Ben Frost, Benga, Boxcutter, Bruno Pronsato, bshosa (detroitZDRoJ), Colleen, dOP, Fuck Buttons, Galoppierende Zuversicht, Groupshow, Hanno Leichtmann, Hauschka, Jacek Sienkiewicz Presents Recognition, Jan Jelinek, Jorge Haro, Jørgen Knudsen, Kaspar, Koenig & Simon Berz, Lillevan, Mark Templeton, Max Richter, Małe Instrumenty, Melchior Productions, Michael Nyman, Németh / Hess / Siewert, Nôze, nsi., Pan American, Pinch, Skream, The Necks, The Sight Below, Tibor Holoda, and Xiu Xiu. Several art works are commissioned especially for this year's festival, most notably the Warhol Series, to be taken to New York in 2009. New venues this year include a 19th century power station, a gothic church more than 500 years old, the Galicia Jewish Museum and Manggha Museum of Japanese Art & Technology. Tickets A pass to all events is priced at 140 zlotych (approx £32) and a Long Weekend Pass which is valid from the Thursday until the Saturday is 120 zlotych (approx £28). To buy tickets, click here.
