Two Rivers Folk Festival will take place in Chepstow, Monmouthshire, from Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th July 2009.

Acts confirmed so far are Seth Lakeman, FOS Brothers, Moondance, 3 Daft Monkeys, Whapweasel, Allan Yn Y Fan, Cruel Folk, Zoox, Black Rat, Sons Of The Sod, Simon Scott, Reg Meuross, James Hollingsworth, John Mc'Connachie, Swanvesta Social Club, Twelth Day, Jehovas Waitresses, One String Loose, Black Friday, Susie Row And Ayla, Catrin O'Neill, and Adam Franklin, with more acts still to be announced.

As well as concerts and two ceilidhs, there are Morris Dancers performing, plus other traditional dance teams and a variety of sessions at venues around the town. The main venues are Chepstow Castle and the Two Rivers Stage at the bandstand. Other venues in the town include Florence Court, The Kings Head, and The Castle pub.

The festival also incorporates a Beer Festival, Food Festival, market and River Boat trips. There is a fully equipped campsite at Chepstow Racecourse and a shuttle bus service to and from town.

TICKETS:
The full weekend wristband offers access to all events including workshops and is priced at £40. (£23(12-16 yrs)). Children under 12 years get in free.

Single Day Tickets: £20 - adult / £12 (12-16 yrs)- enables entry to all concerts/events/workshops, including the Headline at all venues on the chosen day, either Friday or Saturday.

Individual Concert Tickets:
Friday night - 3 Daft Monkeys - £15
Saturday night - Seth Lakeman - £18
Sunday night - Whapweasel - £10


CAMPING:
Camping costs around £5 per pitch for the whole weekend. The pitch is situated at Chepstow Racecourse, is flat and built on limestone, and drains extremely quickly, in the event of rain. There are hot showers, full bar, a campsite shop, performers marquees, a designated quiet area and a dog walking / loo zone.
Campers will be given a welcome pack, town and site map, shuttle bus timetable and complimentary festival programme when collecting their wristbands on arrival. The Weekend Season ticket for the shuttle bus costs an extra £2 and collection/drop-off points are clearly signposted.
