Organised by the same people who also hold Truck festival, this newer festival celebrating music and nature happens in the surroundings of Braziers Park, Oxfordshire from Friday 15th until Sunday 17th May 2009.

Expect a full music line up on 2 stages, confirmed acts include Brakes, Dodgy (acoustic), Spiers & Boden (also doing a workshop), Karine Polwart, The Week That Was, Sam Isaac, Meic Stevens, Po' Girl, Jim Moray, Danny The Champ, Stornoway, Jonquil, and Co-Pilgrim. For the line-up details, and day splits as available please click here.

Tickets are on sale, and as last year, kids go free (under 14 accompanied by an adult). An adult weekend ticket is priced at £55 - 3 nights camping and workshops included. Children under 14 years old accompanied by a paying adult, max 2 per adult, still need tickets. Day tickets are also available priced at £18 for Friday and £23 for Saturday or Sunday.

There are also 'Supertrucker' tickets on sale now giving you access to Wood and Truck (25 & 26th July) priced at £110, which can be purchased using the link below.

Wood runs entirely on renewable energy and aims to highlight green issues and hopefully promote an ecologically friendly lifestyle, with things like composting toilets, showers heated by wood-burning stove, a people powered fairground, and a solar-powered stage and dancing into the night in a bicycle powered 'discotheque'.

There will be opportunities for everyone (from children to grandparents!) to participate, with workshops covering felt making, a knitting circle, crochet workshop, printmaking, harmony singing, circus skills, salsa, drama for kids and adults, Tai Chi, poetry writing and a poetry slam, musical munchkins, making musical instruments from junk, song-writing, thatching, African drumming & dancing, and much more.

This year the festival is introducing an area for talks and debates, a children's tent and people-powered fairground rides. Plus local organic food and drink a plenty, campfire sing-alongs, and more.

More information will be here when available.
