This will be the 37th Village Pump festival, offering fun for all types, and ages. The festival features internationally-known acts from the world of Roots/Folk and Blues music, and takes place in 2010 from Thursday 22nd until Sunday 25th July 2010.

Line-up

Acts confirmed include Bellowhead, Show Of Hands & Friends, The Handsome Family, and The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, The Waterson Family, The Blockheads, Lau, Dreadzone, Jassi Sidhu, Mary Black, Heidi Talbot, Boo Hewerdine, Arabic Balkan Gypsy Band, Babel, Bashema, Beth Porter,The Cedar, The Duckworths, Dynamo's Rhythm Aces, The Fiasco Bros, Flipron, Jon Amor, The Kett Rebellion, Mama Rosin, The Mendip String Band (new Kevin Brown & friends acoustic band) Polly & The Billets-Doux, The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists, Sam Brookes, Alejandro Toledo & The Magic Tombelinos, Trembling Bells, and Urusen with more to be announced. Plus cabaret and afternoon folk concerts in new venues with many more still to be announced.

Tickets

Early bird tickets are no longer on sale. An adult ticket is priced at £115, children 10 – 15 half price – under 10's free. Day tickets are also available. To buy tickets, click here.

Entertainment

All events take place in marquees and the compact site with three separate stages plus a childrens tent, comedy evening, workshops covering a wide range of interests, beer tents, and a myriad of trade stalls selling food and items from all over the world.

New stage for 2010

New for 2010 is the Amphitheatre – an outside stage set in a natural bowl so you can laze around, dance and picnic with lots of space. This is will be the big action stage for 2010 with light shows and lots more street entertainment.

As well as the musical performances, you can also expect dances, workshops, informal sessions, street entertainment and a complete children's programme with music, childrens dances, storytelling, puppets, magic and circus skills.

Camping

Camping and car parking are all on site close at hand. Ticket price includes five days camping for caravans, campervans and tents, and car parking.

Times

The programme starts at around 7pm on the Thursday, 1pm on Friday and 9am on Saturday and Sunday. Music finishes 12 midnight Thursday and Sunday and 1am Friday and Saturday.
