This thriving major folk arts festival, returns to celebrate it's 54th year, returning for a 4th year to the fields at Thame Showground, Oxfordshire.

The dates for 2018 are confirmed as the Bank Holiday weekend of Friday 24th to Monday 27th August.

Towersey has developed in the last few years from a very Folky event into a more eclectic festival with a fair amount of World and broader acoustic music, singer songwriters stage, poetry, street theatre etc.

Line-up

The line-up includes:- The Shires, The Proclaimers, Richard Thompson Electric Trio, Sharon Shannon Band, Martin Joseph, Peter Knight & John Spiers, Frumptarn Guggenband, The Chipolatas, Martin Simpson, Wildwood Kin, Faustus, Roy Bailey, Whapweasel, Blackbeard's Tea Party, and more.

Tickets are available currently priced as below:-

Adult £139 (plus camping £26 extra)
Concessions £120 (camping £26 extra)
Youth (12-17yrs) £98 (camping £26 extra)
Child (5-11yrs) £59 (camping no extra)
Tickets for children aged under 5 are free - they must be ticketed.

Day tickets are not currently available.
