The fifth Tiverton Balloon and Music Festival takes place from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th July 2015 at Petroc College/Tiverton Campus on Bolham Road, Tiverton, in Devon.

Line-up

This year the Tiverton Balloon & MUSIC Festival will be showcasing acts across it's 2 Music Stages - The Main Stage and Origin Stage.

Friday: The Skints, Zuri Aura, Alex Gregory & The Band, Electric Spank, Echo Tape, and Time Travel Agents.

Saturday: Cut Capers, Mad Dog Mcrea, Sound of the Sirens, FireKind, Castletown, The Going Goods, Skull Kids, Gypfunk, and South Devon Big Band.

Sunday: The Simmertones, Flight Brigade, Undercover Hippy, SHHB, Helele, Undercover Hippy, Skata Tones, and Far North District.

Plus a Comedy Stage, Workshops provided by staff and students from both Petroc College and Tiverton High School, poetry and story readings, diverse catering and an eclectic mix of other attractions.

An adult (aged 16+ years) three day ticket is priced at £17, a child (aged 8-15 years) 3 day ticket is priced at £12. Children aged under 8 years can attend free. A 3 day family ticket (2a +2c) is priced at £45. Prices do not include booking fees.

On site

More than 40 hot air balloons are planned to take to the skies on Friday evening from approximately 6pm and from approximately 7am and 6pm on both Saturday and Sunday (subject to weather). On Friday and Saturday there will be evening entertainment provided by 'Night Glows' where balloons will give a fire and light show choreographed to music alongside fire jugglers and a lantern procession.

On Saturday and Sunday afternoons (subject to weather) there will be balloons tethering (i.e tied to the ground) and displays in the Main Ring, plus competitions involving mixed teams of public and balloonistsand the opportunity to closely view the balloons and talk to pilots and crew.

Expect also falconry displays; various main ring events; over 20 live music acts; Taste of the West caterers serving the best of local produce; local ales; a planetarium; children’s workshops; a Kids Zone; a Food & Drink Pavilion; a Craft Marquee and more.

Charity

Over the last 4 years the 'not for profit' event has helped raise more than £33,650 for local charities, including the Devon Air Ambulance, Children’s Hospice South West and the Exeter Leukaemia Fund (ELF).

Camping

Tiverton Balloon and Music Festival are working with Elmore Football Club to offer festival goers an official campsite again for 2015, with motorhome, caravan and camping facilities available, less than 1 mile away from the main festival site & on a direct bus route.
