Tiree Music Festival will be taking place on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th July 2011, on Tiree, the outer island of the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. The family friendly festival also offers a children's Ceilidh, workshops, food stalls, and whisky tasting.

Line-up

The line-up includes headliners Wolfstone, plus Pearl & The Puppets, Skerryvore, MacDonald Brothers, Face The West, Brian hughes & Band, Manran, Calum Iain & Runrig's Malcolm Jones, Trail West, The Works, and Defenders, with more still to be announced.

Tickets

An adult weekend ticket is priced at £50, a concession/under-14 weekend ticket is priced at £40, children aged under 8 can attend free (but still require a ticket). Day tickets are priced at £30 for either day, a concession/under-14 day ticket is priced at £25, and under-8's free. Proof of age may be required when entering the festival if holding a concession or free child ticket. Camping tickets are priced at £25 for a small pitch (3 sqm) maximum 2 persons, or £40 for a large pitch (6 sqm) maximum 4 persons. To buy tickets, click here.

Ferries

Cal Mac provides a daily service from Oban to Tiree that approximately takes 4 hours taking in Oban bay and the sound of Mull. It is always recommended to book well in advance if taking a vehicle as the ferries are very busy during the summer months. If just a foot passenger then you are safe to purchase your tickets at the ferry terminal before departure.

Camping

A new festival campsite is located at the Tiree Business Centre in Crossapol, a 5 minute walk from the festival site and has 24hr toilets as well as local amenities close by such as I+F MacLeod Shop. There are small pitches (3sqm) suitable for 2 man tents and large pitches (4sqm) suitable for 4 man/family tents. Tickets for the campsite are valid from Thursday 21st – Monday 25th July.

The is also the Wild Diamond Campsite, situated in Balinoe, approximately 4miles from the festival site (a lovely walk across Balinoe Bay). Far anyone not camping accommodation on Tiree during the Summer Season is very limited so please ensure anyone attending the festival has accommodation arranged prior to arrival.
