Thornborough is a live music festival set in a nature reserve in the Yorkshire Dales. This annual festival was set up in 2004 to highlight the threat to Thornborough Henges, an important and ancient Yorkshire site, just a few miles from Grewelthorpe. Tarmac Northern Ltd are quarrying the Thornborough ancient monument complex and Tarmac have now applied to quarry even more of the monument complex. See here for more details.
