In 2009 the Hop Farm Festival increases to two days. The event held at the Hop Farm Country Park, Kent will happen on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July.

Saturday's line-up is headlined by The Fratellis, and includes The Pigeon Detectives, The View, Ash, Echo and the Bunnymen, Florence And The Machine, and more.

Sunday's line-up is headlined by Paul Weller, and includes Editors, Doves, 2manydjs, Super Furry Animals, The Twang, Mystery Jets, Ladyhawke, and more.

For the full line-up details to date including stage splits click here. There are more acts still to be announced.

Hop Farm is set in 400 acres of unspoilt Kent countryside, and was once a working and now one of Kent's most popular tourist attractions in the Garden of England. This event organised by Vince Power has no VIP area, so everyone has the same experience, there's no registration, no sponsorship, and no branding.

Tickets are priced at £125 for a weekend ticket including camping and parking, day tickets are priced at £65 for either day. Career tickets are also available at half price but must be purchased in pairs.

This year the festival offers a weekend experience of camping with the campsite opening on Friday 3rd July from noon. There's also food and traditional ales, and three stages of music. The festival hopes to offer something for everyone including a fun fair and campsite entertainment.

There is also a 5-a-side Celebrity Football competition over two days in association with Soccer Six, festival goers will be joined by ex-footballers, TV personalities and even some of the bands who'll be taking a well earned break from entertaining the crowds. Kicking off at noon on both Saturday and Sunday. Sporting guests so far include Everton legend Neville Southall (MBE) and ex-Man U winger, Lee Sharpe. Plus players from The Pigeon Detectives, Noah and the Whale, British Sea Power, Kid British, as well a selection of television favourites, from Big Brother housemates to Shipwrecked castaways!
