The 5th Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival will take place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th August 2008.

The headline acts for 2008 are confirmed as Waterboys and Scouting For Girls. The Lemonheads, Idlewild, Jefferson Starship, Cold War Kids, Nouvelle Vague, Justin Currie, Edwyn Collins, Rachel Unthank & the Winterset, Dreadzone, Kathryn Williams and Lisa Knapp are some of the latest artists confirmed. Belladrum offers plenty of interest aside from the music, including an array of entertainment for children. Attractions include street theatre, cabaret, cinema, dance, alternative therapies, stalls, food and drink. Plus new for this year will be a spoken word arena called the Co-Op Verb Garden which will offer talks, cabaret, poetry, comedy, and song over the weekend.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £80 for 'early bird' for the weekend (includes parking and camping from 4 PM Thursday 7th to 1 PM Sunday 10th) or £50 for just Saturday (includes parking and camping from 9 AM Saturday 9th to 1 PM Sunday 10th). Children 12 and under enter free. Click here to buy.

Ticketmaster, one of the official ticket agents for the festival have lost 1250 tickets. As these tickets are now missing, the police have been informed, and customers are advised that if they purchased tickets from Ticketmaster these will be issued as normal by secure post within the next few days. These tickets will be valid for entry. The missing tickets that have been voided and will not gain admission to the festival are ticket numbers: Weekend Adult numbers 2001 - 3000 and 6051 6100 and Saturday Adult numbers 301 - 500.
