The Swanage Folk Festival takes place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th September 2018. A friendly weekend festival with events held at a variety of venues around the town around the Sandpit Field.

The festival also features dance displays, concerts, crafts, workshops, children's activities, trade stands, and sessions. Many events are free including street processions and dance displays.

The announced acts include:- Bram Taylor, Flats and Sharps, Geoff Lakeman, Gilmore and Roberts, Gordon Potts, Louise Jordon, The Model Folk, Mother Ukers, Narthen, Ninebarrow, Oysterband, Pete Christie, Rod Jenkins Band, The Rheingans Sisters, Threepeny Bit, The Young'Uns, and Tinderbox.
