This free festival features several different gigs with acclaimed national and international blues musicians playing at a variety of venues around the picturesque seaside town of Swanage, on the South West coast of England.
All sorts of styles are represented such as acoustic, electric, rural and urban blues.
Act confirmed include: AAndrew Bazeley, C Sharp Blues, Chris Collins & Blues etc, Coalhouse Walker Blues Band, Confused Blues, Fabulous Fezheads, Hugh Budden, John Crampton, Jon Walsh Blues Band, Martin Froud, Motel6, Pete Harris, Rag Mama Rag, Riverside Blues Band, Robert Hokum Blues Band, Robin Bibi Band, Sonny Black, Steve Darrington, The Jawbreakers, The Jives, The Mustangs, The Riotous Brothers, The Shakers, and Will Killeen.
Expect around 20 acts will be playing across 10 venues, all with free admission. There are open mic sessions every afternoon and usually a Blues Steam Train ride plus dancers, street musicians, jam sessions, and workshops.
