This free festival features several different gigs with acclaimed national and international blues musicians at a variety of venues around the picturesque seaside town of Swanage, on the South West coast. The provisional line-up has already been announced and is as follows:

Friday evening, 2nd March - at Swanage Bay View Holiday Park - The Incredible Blues Puppies, an experienced quartet with a long musical pedigree.
Friday evening, 2nd March - at the White Horse - rock singer/songwriter, Saiichi Sugiyama and his Band.
Friday evening, 2nd March - at the Anchor Inn - acclaimed blues guitarist, Pete Harris with vocalist/harmonica player, Steve Budden, and Teej Osborne on double bass.
Friday evening, 2nd March and Saturday evening, 3rd March - at the Purbeck Pub - one-man blues musician, John Crampton playing slide or bottleneck guitar, plus harmonica and stomp box.
Friday evening, 2nd March and Saturday evening, 3rd March at the Moonlight Bistro (reservations 01929 475615) - Sonny Black, voted by Blues In Britain readers as the best UK blues guitarist in 2002.
Friday evening, 2nd March at the Royal Oak and on Saturday evening, 3rd March at the Anchor Inn - Hollow Bone performing traditional blues plus their own original material.
Saturday evening, 3rd March - at Swanage Bay View Holiday Park - The Barcodes, a trio mixing blues and jazz influences.
Saturday evening, 3rd March - at the White Horse - The Mustangs performing a blues-based mix of original songs and covers.

Other performances are to be announced but will also include something from Steve Darrington, pianist/harmonica player and festival organiser. Admission is free to all venues and further details will be published nearer the time.

Swanage offers plenty of places to stay and is on the Jurrassic coast.
