Sunrise Celebration takes place from Thursday 2nd until Sunday 5th June 2011 and returns to Lilcombe Farm near Bruton, an organic farm in South Somerset.

Line-up

The line-up will see some of the best new talent and old favourites including headliners Lamb, plus The Beat, Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit, System 7, The Travelling Band, Seize The Day, The Orb Soundsystem, Raja Ram from Shpongle, James Monro, Banco de Gaia, Mirror System, Tristan, Laughing Buddha, Far Too Loud, Hedflux, Major Clanger, Zen Elephant, Mankala, The Peoples String Foundation, Tin Roots, Gabby Young and Other Animals, Cocos Lovers, Extra Curricular, and many more to follow. 2011 will see the introduction of the 'Elemental Stage' a new outdoor stage in the Carnival Field - which along with the Chai Wallahs main indoor stage and the 7 other smaller stages will be host to some great headline acts to be announced throughout the coming months. Expect also The Alchemical Chill, The Bimble Inn, Lost Horizons, Hurly Burly, Triban, The Zenith Dance Stage, Pussyfoot Cabaret, and The Invisible Circus.

Parking for cars is £16.50 per car
Campervan tickets are priced at £32.50 per vehicle (A campervan is defined as any vehicle you intend to sleep in for any part of the Festival)

There will also be theatre, cabaret, slam poetry, permaculture gardens, alternative technology work shops, solar cinema, sauna, hot tubs, tipi circle, sustainable living talks, workshops, healing sanctuary, central fire, walkabout performance, performance art, non-musical presentations, dress-up mayhem, dance, art installations, ethical fashion, eco innovations, and organic food and drink.

The four-day festival has improved camping with permanent toilets and showers, caravan spaces, restaurant and coffee shop. There are clothes and craft stalls onsite, a vinyl and CD fair.

Bloodstone's Feast of Fools Emporium

Bloodstone's Feast of Fools Emporium (presents): '1000 Years of Albion', Edutainment about the Past for the Future. The Guild of Traditional Showmen ~ European Artists & Craftsfolk with a handmade Victorian Market. The spirit of Merry England with Tricksters & Tattooists, Urchins & Candy Floss girls, tarts and tramps, Sweeney Todd's pie shop, the Honeymoon Tavern, Folk Ceilidh, Vaudeville Musicians, Jazz Bands, the Shambolic Sideshow, Ravers & Ranters, Showtime each night- Flaming Dance& Beating Drum, Cockney Knees-up with Merrymakers Music Hall, Johnny Cage & the Voodoo Groove & the Hoochie Coochie Girls 54, white lies, wicked fibs & shaggy dog fables.

Carnival of Life

Read My Hips dance space offering, "a diverse selection of global dance workshops and jams designed specifically to make you shake, stomp, wiggle and writhe with colour, rhythm and raw energy." Including Pan African dance, african drumming, Bollywood and Bhangra boogies, Tribal fusion bellydance,Ka-Zimba,hiphop, capoeira, middle eastern and gypsy steps,samba, columbian drumming and salsa. Plus dance and drum jams.

Kids area

Sunrise has a dedicated kids area (where adults will be allowed only as long as they behave themselves!) Features this year will include a new climbing wall, swingboats and rides, kids disco, circus and crafts workshops, parades, a maze, outdoor games and more. For the older kids there will be graffiti walls, breakdance, poetry slams, hip hop, circus shows and skills, bushcraft skills and lots more still to be confirmed.

The Kindness Offensive competition

Sunrise have announced a competition to win two tickets to the festival with the help of London-based charity, The Kindness Offensive (TKO) and activist Charlie Veitch from the Love Police. Green ethos

The event is expected to be 100% ecologically powered, with a site-wide organic policy which also applies to alcohol. There are full camping facilities will be available including, showers, chemical & compost toilets.

Bus service

There is a free bus from the nearest train station, information regarding this will be distributed with the tickets.
