    Now in its 12th year Summer Sundae Weekender is celebrating with the most enticing line-up to date and we are offering you the chance to win a pair of tickets to join the party.

    Mercury prize nominee Katy B will lead the way on Friday night, followed by Britpop superstars Ocean Colour Scene who will take over the Lion's Den on Saturday night. Bringing proceedings to a vituperative close on Sunday are legendary post-punk band Public Image Limited alongside Indie rockers Reverend and the Makers.

    And that is only the tip of the iceberg. Summer Sundae will also be serving up an impressive selection of live acts including the incredible Adam Ant back with his new band The Good, the Mad & the Lovely Posse, one of Britain's most exciting live bands Asian Dub Foundation, Death in Vegas who has cut some of the most unusual records to hit the UK dance scene, Billy Bragg with a set devoted to folk singer Woody Guthrie, the wonderful Merrill Garbus aka tUnE-yArDs, the incredible Patrick Wolf, soul sensation Lianne La Havas, and Mercury Award nominee Ghostpoet.

    The splendidly boutique festival incorporates far more than just the finest of line-ups; this year's festival will see the luscious environs of Leicester's De Montford Hall transform into a safari park as festival goers connect with their wild side and discover their animal spirit. This year sees the arrival of a brand new music venue complete with two stages; Into the Wild and The Watering Hole. Enter if you dare into the jaws of the main arena's Lion's Den, or find some shade in De Montfort Hall's Crocodile's Lagoon. For this year only, The Garden will be transformed into a Jungle, densely packed with a full range of interactive delights and a Bandstand Stage with storytelling, poetry and theatre as well as musical performances. As usual there will also be plenty of activities for cheeky monkeys and their families in The Garden and The Kidzone- all in all this year's festival should prove to be unmissable and you don't have to miss out!
