Now in it's fifth year, this festival is organised by Sutton Park Amblers (a heritage and watchdog group) and in its first 4 years alone has raised over £8,750 for the children of NCH. Since it's inception in 2002, the festival has expanded and now runs from Thursday evening through to Sunday evening. There's lots going on including folk, blues, celtic, skiffle, sing-a-rounds, sessions, dance, a folk-walk, plus a Spoken Word concert on Saturday.

The full line-up has not yet been confirmed but is expected to include folk favourites such as the John Richards Band, Flossie Malavialle, Emma and the Professor, Bedlam, and Isambarde. A couple of Australian artists of some acclaim are appearing too including Keith Potger (famous in the 60s as one of the Seekers, and mentor and manager of the New Seekers in the 70s) and also Beck Sian. Further details will be published here soon.

Sutton Coldfield is on the North East edge of Birmingham with a busy high street and array of shops. There are plenty of hotels and B&Bs to choose from and Sutton Park, Europe's largest urban public park, is very close by, as is the train station, just 10 minutes from Birmingham New Street station and only 5 minutes from the festival's epicentre.
