Formerly known as Woodworks, this festival takes place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May on St Mary's School Field and aims to encourage the participation and enjoyment of folk arts, drawing on assistance from the local community. Along with a UK-wide network of musicians, dancers, tutors and enthusiasts, opportunities are provided for people of all ages to come together to learn, listen, network, and enjoy live music.

Line-up

Latest additions are The Broken Chords, Dirty Lions, Fallen From, Saturday Sun, BSUS, Navacross, Straw Bear, Fred's House, Death by Sexy, Nothing, The Fog, Zoe Phillips, Alice Walker, The 150 Friend's Club, David Youngs, Raided by Waves, Nate Maingard, Oka Vanga, Death Surf, Dan Starr, JJ and the Swordfish, Beaten Track, Benjamin Bloom, and Jerry Nineacres.

The first acts confirmed were The Christians, Uncle Funk, The Quireboys, Mozzy Green, Dean Austin, Elliot Porter, AlicebanD, Benedict, Susanna Squires, The Huxleys, Charlie Turner, Theo Howarth, The Jamie Fallon Band, Jack in Water, The Last Men, Shakila, Alice & The Fox.

Expect over 70 acts on 4 stages with bands, theatre companies, and other performance art groups appearing in an Arts Marquee, a couple of acoustic showcase sessions, and a comedy tent, acoustic marquee, rock tent and a bar tent with an open mic stage.

Workshops

A variety of workshops are usually on offer. There's also street performance, a festival market, hot and cold food, stand-up comedy, silent disco, live sessions popping up everywhere, a chill-out tent, artistic displays (including sculptures), craft and music stalls, plus children's activities.

Tickets

The early bird offer has ended. An adult weekend ticket is priced at £26, a youth(12-17) weekend ticket is priced at £13.50, and a family weekend ticket (2 Adults 2 Youths) is priced at £62.50. Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
