Soundwave is an annual one day Australian rock festival which takes place in 5 cities across Australia in February and March 2013.

Locations

The dates are Saturday 23rd February - RNA Showgrounds (Brisbane), Sunday 24th February - Sydney Olympic Park (Sydney), Friday 1st March - Melbourne Showgrounds (Melbourne), Saturday 2nd March - Bonython Park (Adelaide), and Monday 4th March - Claremont Showground (Perth).

Line-up

Latest acts announced are Mark Tremonti and Living with Lions, Killswitch Engage, The Vandals, Orange Goblin, The Sword, Chelsea Grin, The Chariot, Sharks, Northlane, O'brother, Dr.Acula, and Milestones.

They join Metallica, Linkin Park, Blink-182, A Perfect Circle, The Offspring, Paramore, Garbage, Tomahawk, Stone Sour, Kyuss Lives, Anthrax, Sum 41, Dragonforce, All Time Low, Flogging Molly, Ghost, Duff McKagan's Loaded, Motion City Soundtrack, The Lawrence Arms, Kingdom Of Sorrow, Fozzy, Sleeping With Sirens, Cancer Bats, Madball, Vision Of Disorder, Pierce The Veil, Periphery, Shai Hulud, Of Mice & Men, Miss May I, Danko Jones, Woe Is Me, The Wonder Years, While She Sleeps, Lucero, Such Gold, Six Feet Under, Deaf hzvana, Red Fang, Chunk! No Captain Chunk!, and Memphis May Fire, with more acts still to be announced.

Tickets were priced at AUS$187 (around £126), and have sold out.

Age restrictions

Soundwave Young people aged under 18 attending Soundwave should be accompanied by a responsible adult (18 or over). Soundwave is not suitable for children under 12 and they will not be admitted.

Opening times

Gates will open at 11am, and close at 10pm. Festival goers can arrive and leave Soundwave Festival whenever you like, however pass outs (leaving & re-entering the venue) will not be permitted.
