The Sonisphere rock festival comes to Italy for the first time, held at Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, near the Italian town of Imola, in Italy happening on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June 2011.

Line-up

Iron Maiden, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Rob Zombie, Motorhead, Mastodon, Apocalyptica, Papa Roach, Alter Bridge, The Cult, The Damned Things, Bring Me the Horizon, Parkway Drive, Escape The Fate, Labyrinth, and Guano Apes. There are no other acts confirmed yet.

The racing circuit is best know for the F1 race and is located near the Italian town of Imola, 40 kilometres (24.9 mi) east of Bologna and 80 kilometres (49.7 mi) east of the Ferrari factory in Maranello.
