The annual three-day music festival returns to Barcelona, Spain for its sixteenth year from Thursday 18th through to Saturday 20th June.

The line-up is as follows:
Thursday: RRIICCEE feat. Vincent Gallo, Micachu and The Shapes, Konono Nº 1, Luomo, Omar Souleyman, Filastine, Ben Frost, Mark Jones plays Wall of Sound, Joe Crepúsculo vs. La Estrella de David y Thelemáticos, Tarántula vs. La Orquesta del Caballo Ganador, Colch-ón vs. Suma, Institut Fatima, Roland Olbeter + Tim Exile + Jon Hopkins, Anímic, Carrier To Noise Ratio, Néboa, Nikka, Rominger, Pau Riba + Mil Simonis, Bèstia Ferida, Txarly Brown presenta Achilifunk, Penca Catalogue, Carlos Suárez, Aitor Molina, Quayola, Fat Fish, Vidal Romero plays Go Mag, and Davic Nod. Sónar By Day takes place in the Center of Contemporary Culture and the Museum of Contemporary Art very near to La Rambla. It usually starts around Midday and continues until around 10pm for each of the three days of the festival. This part of the festival features live bands, DJs, multimedia art, record/clothes stalls, demonstrations, a cinema, and other activities.

Sónar by Night takes place away from the centre of Barcelona, special coaches transport festival goers to the SonarPark housing four arenas showcasing DJs, VDJs and live entertainment.

Early bird tickets are on sale priced at 125 euros and in February it is scheduled to increase to 140 euros a ticket, and will be more expensive if purchased on the door. To buy tickets, click here.

Festival goers will need to find themselves accommodation whilst the festival is on as there is no camping facilities at the event.
