Solfest is a new Celtic, World and Roots Festival set between the mountains and the sea in picturesque West Cumbria and featuring a range of musical and cultural experiences.

There are top name and local bands, a dance tent (with with Gooseman/Electrosluts, and others), children's and adult workshops, session tent, licensed bar and the Siskyn Café.

Artists include The Oysterband, Shooglenifty, Croft No. 5, Flook, Mcermott's Two Hours, Togmor, Keiretsu, Skilda, Sabari, Cloud 9, Bluehorses, Becky Owen, Susan Raven, Megson, Small Change, Alternivo, Closed Circle and King Voodoo.

LATEST NEWS: Christina Pato has had to pull out but Kate Rusby will be appearing instead.

Evidence is required for concessions, 12-18 years and under 12s tickets.

CAMPING: A separate quiet camping area for families will be available. You will be able to park next to your tent but please be prepared to only move your vehicle in an emergency.
