Started in 2010, as the Folkestone Skabour Festival, the Folkestone Ska Splash offers annually a weekend of worldwide renowned Ska acts and DJs. In 2013 the festival organisers redeveloped the festival which has grown from a medium size event, to a wide reaching, large scale production that incorporates the entire old town of Folkestone including the Creative Quarter, the Harbour and the Stade.
Utilizing multiple indoor venues, four outdoor venues, art exhibitions, markets, restaurants, cafe's, bars and pubs with community interest and family areas at the 'Ska Splash Family fountain' and 'Ska Beach' Sunny Sands.
