The Sellindge Music Festival takes place at Hope Farm, Sellindge, near Ashford in Kent, with a fusion of folk, world, dance and indie music. Having grown out of the Sellindge Steam Special, the Sellindge Music Festival is now a dedicated two-day music festival thanks to the success of 2007's event. The Main Stage line-up is as follows: Saturday 7th June Idlewild, The Hair, Marner Brown, Syd Arthur, Steer Clear, Revolution, Lucy Kitt, and Red Lite Run. Sunday 8th June Mark Morris (Bluetones), Emunah, The Sea, Kris Dollimore, More Than Normal, The Lionhearts, The Tunics, JC's Flatline Junkies, and Buswell. This is the split of folk artists playing on the following days: Saturday 7th June The Park Bench Social Club, Jon Woode, Raphael Mead, Waterhorse, The Folk Collective, Luke Jackson, Tzee, The Get Miles, The Jigsaw Project, Handshake, and The Rattlers. Sunday 8th June Rory Mcleod, Wheeler Street,Robert Brown, Blabbermouth, Alice Heggie, The Singing Loins, Flake Brown, and Hotrods & Dragsters. 852 records will be hosting a day of electro-dubstep-breaks-house-trance-techno in the Dance Arena. DJS confirmed for Saturday include Holmtik, Stenchman, Dave Linton, Scott Ayers, and Some Peep Show. The South Coast's Delete will be hosting the dance arena on Sunday June bringing with them UK and international electro DJs. More acts and headliners will be confirmed over the coming months. BBC Introducing will be hosting a stage at Sellindge featuring selected artists from Kent, catch potential artists on the BBC Introducing Kent tour>,br> The festival supports charities close to the organisers hearts. Tickets are not yet on sale, but 'early bird' prices are confirmed as £20 for day tickets, and weekend with camping costing £40. Tickets are on sale now.
